3.6 Exchanging and rotating the heating plate
To exchange the heating plate, the press must be disconnected from electricity and cold.
Now disconnect the spiral tube plug of the heating plate-
Loosen fixation screw 1 with a wrench (4 rotations to the left). Take hold of the plate und put it down carefully on the base plate. Take
the heating plate carefully and put it on a soft underground, because the Teflon cover should not be damaged. Then take the new heating
plate and tighten it with the wrench. Connect the heating plate with the press.
Turning the heating plate about 90°
If you want to turn the heating plate about 90°, you have to turn the press off first and then loosen fixation screw 1 (1 rotation to the
left). Then disconnect the heating plate from the press and turn it. After turning the plate you have to tighten the fixation screw 1 again
and connect the heating plate with the press. Now you can use the press again.
