MAINTENANCE

1000 RPM REDUCER GEARBOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Reducer Gearbox Removal

1. Disconnect

all

components

from

the

snowblower and disconnect the snowblower
from the tractor

2. Disconnect the driveline from the gearbox

spline shaft, and remove the cone.

3. Remove the four bolts that hold the Reducer

Gearbox onto the coupler.

NOTE:

BE CAREFUL TO SUPPORT THE
GEARBOX WHEN YOU REMOVE THE
BOLTS. IT WILL ROTATE DOWN
POTENTIALLY CAUSING INJURY.
