9.6 Filling Wing Tubes with Water

If additional weight is required for ground penetration the main frame wing tubes can be filled with water. The

tubes are designed to be filled and emptied in transport position. There are two plugs on top of the 12 x 12

main tube located near the main wing knuckle. One is for filling and one is used for an air vent.
The plug for emptying the tube is on the outside of the wing tube on the bottom.

IMPORTANT:

•

If filling tubes with water always fill completely to reduce sloshing and therefore weight transfer during

operation and transport.

•

Water must be emptied from the tubes if the machine will be encountering temperatures below freezing.

Failure to empty tubes of water during freezing conditions will cause damage to the machine and void the

warranty on any affected parts
