Safety instructions
Never heat the grill plate when it is empty.
If oil accidentally catches fire (fat fire), do not extinguish the fire with water. Suffocate the
flames with a suitable lid or a blanket/hand towel. Switch off the burner and leave the
heated grill plate to cool down. Do not cool it in cold water!
Only use appropriate heat sources (you can find corresponding instructions on the packa-
ging or on the base of the grill plate).
If the food is too wet, this may lead to dangerous splashes of fat.
Never leave the grill plate unattended during use.
Never leave children unsupervised near a grill plate.
Use oven gloves or pot holders to avoided burns. The handles of the grill plate become
very hot; there is a risk of burning.
Take care with transporting the grill plate with hot contents. Do not touch hot surfaces.
Only touch the grill plate by the handles and with the help of a dish cloth or oven gloves.
Only put the grill plate down on an even, stable and heat-resistant surface.
No changes may be made to the grill plate.
