6 Operation
The following operating steps must be checked by a qualified electrician before the initial
start of operations and section 1.6 (Requirements and instructions for installation,
maintenance and operating staff) must be read.
General safety instructions regarding operation
6.1
WARNING
Non-observance of the general safety instructions regarding
normal operation
This can result in personal injury or material damage.

The system must only be operated by trained personnel who have read and
understood the operating instructions.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to high vacuum and flow rate
Hair, skin, body parts and items of clothing can be sucked in.

Closely fitting clothing and a hairnet must be worn.

Do not look into the opening of the suction connection.

Do not reach into the opening of the suction connection.

Do not position in the vicinity of body orifices.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to falling parts and uncontrolled gripper movements
If the load cannot be held by the lifting device
– either because the maximum
load has been exceeded or for other reasons
– the lifting process must not be
supported by physical strength, otherwise the load may fall.

The operator must never use his or her physical strength to support the lifting
process.
►
Observe the lift capacity range of the lifting device.
