Make sure to carry out each of these steps with the
utmost care and diligence. If you are not completely
sure as to the quality of your own work, please do not
hesitate to contact your specialized Schindelhauer dealer.

3. Hook the cable to the cable drum of the rear hub and the outer cable to
the clamp (black metal lever, fig. 11).
4. Then put pressure onto the rear wheel (with your body weight) to push
the axle into the opening of the slide up to the stop. The belt will then
have its original tension again. Tighten the hub nuts on both sides with
the required torque (fig. 12).
5. For last step check the adjustment of the gear hub. Therefore shift to
the 4th gear (Nexus 8) and turn the adjustment knob (fig. 14) at the
shifter until the two yellow lines align (fig. 13). Shift through all gears and
check alignment again. If the deflection is not according to the require-
ments (see page 35), loose the bolts and adjust the belt tension again.
Make sure that the rear wheel is centered between the chain stays.
