In order to adjust the scraper bar (b), loosen the
fastening screws (a), adjust the scraper bar (b) and
tighten the fastening screws (a).
Skids (Fig. 6)
• Mount both skids to the sides of the feed screw
housing using the screws (C) M8 x 20mm (on the
outside) and M8 x 25mm (on the inside).
• Move the skids downwards as far as possible. En-
sure that both skids are adjusted evenly.
• Tighten up the screws.
Ejection shaft (Fig. 7 + 8)
•
Lubricate the underside of the ejection shaft (if not
yet lubricated).
•
Mount the ejection shaft (32) above the opening
in the feed screw housing and affix it using the
screws (D).
•
Affix the top lever holder (already attach to the le
-
ver) to the top left side of the steering rod using a
nut and two spring washers (E).
•
Lubricate the screw of the adjustment lever (36).
• Insert the screw end of the adjustment lever into
the bottom holder and secure it in place using a
washer and spring split pin (E).
Shift linkage (Fig. 9 - 11)
•
Position the shifting arm (F) on the shifting brack
-
et. Align the holes in the shifting arm and shifting
bracket. Fix the shifting arm in place with a dow-
el pin.

Now attach the shift rod (c), fix it in place with a
spring split pin (G) (Fig. 10).
•
Raise the shift rod (35) and loosen the counternut
beneath the pivot. Screw the pivot along the shift
rod until it fits in the hole beneath the shift lever.
Fix
the whole thing in place with the nut (H).

ATTENTION!
Always make sure the device is fully assembled

Before starting the engine, check the oil level and
ensure that the engine is in perfect condition.
Cold start – Electric starter 230V
The engine is equipped with a 230V electric starter
as well as a recoil starter. The electric starter has
a three-wire power cable and a connector and has
been designed so that it works at the voltage speci-
fied on the plate.
1. Insert the safety ignition key into the ignition slot
until you hear a click. Do not turn the key.
2. Ensure that fuel valve is in the OPEN position.
3. Move the choke control to the FULL position.

7. Unpacking
• Open the packaging and carefully remove the de-
vice.
• Remove the packaging material, as well as the
packaging and transport safety devices (if present).
• Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
• Check the device and accessory parts for transport
damage. In the event of complaints the carrier must
be informed immediately. Later claims will not be
recognised.
• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of
the warranty period.
• Familiarise yourself with the product by means of
the operating manual before using for the first time.
• With accessories as well as wearing parts and re-
placement parts use only original parts. Replace-
ment parts can be obtained from your dealer.
• When ordering please provide our article number
as well as type and year of manufacture for your
product.

8. Assembly / Before commissioning

Steering rod (Fig. 3+4)
•
Position the bottom handle (34) against the left and
right side of the machine.
• Align the holes on the side parts and secure the
bottom handle (34) with the screws (A).

Raise the steering rod (33) into the operating posi
-
tion, align the holes and secure it with the screws (B).
Scraper bar (Fig. 5)
• Position the machine on a level surface.
• Support the feed screw blades so that they are
3mm above the ground.
•
Check the adjustment of the scraper bar (b).
The
scraper bar (b) should be 3mm above and parallel
to the ground.
