1. No voltage is present.
2. Operator is not plugged in.
1. Check the power supply from electronic
plug on opener.
2. Carefully open the cover, check that all
cables are connected.
System learning will not start
Photocell connected incorrectly or
is not recognized by the controller.
1. Check the connection of the photocell.
2. Adjust photocell alignment.
3. If the photocell is not desired, disable this
function in the menu.
Automatic closing timer doesn’t
work
Photocell not connected.
Connect photocell. This function is only
possible with a connected light barrier.
Operator opens/closes on its own
Glitch / assembly next to the power
line.
The controller may not be mounted in the
immediate vicinity of a power line
(electrostatic charge).
Operator not working
Opening/Closing positions not
correctly learned in.
Set the end positions as described in the
instructions.
Garage door opens only. Garage
door will not close.
When using a photocell or upon
activation of the photocell function
without having attached a
photocell.
1. Check the photocell and see that no
obstacle is obstructing it.
2. Disable the photocell function if a photocell
is not installed.
Garage door automatically moves
15-40 cm back rather than fully
closing
1. Automatic safety return.
Because of an old or improperly
adjusted garage door.
2. Door unbalanced or springs
old, weak or defective.
1. Check the springs in every door position
2. Set the end positions again.
3. Increase the power for the force
obstruction.
Remote control does not work
1. Battery is empty.
2. Interference source in the area.
1. Replace the battery.
2. Remove all sources of interference in the
environment (eg. baby monitors, etc.)
New remotes cannot be encoded
1. Memory is full.
2. New remote control is not
compatible with the door
operator.
1. Press "Code" long displays more than 8
seconds until the display shows "dL." All
codes are deleted. Now save the new
remote control.
2. Use only original Easy remotes.
