SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
To prevent damage to the appliance, please read these instructions carefully before usage. Incorrect use of the
appliance may lead to damage to the appliance, property loss or personal injury.
•
Before first use check if the electrical specifications correspond to mains parameters.
•
For domestic use only. The appliance is not designed for industrial use.
•
Do not use outdoors or in high humidity conditions.
•
To disconnect the power cord from mains pull out the plug, do not pull the cord.
•
Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with sharp edges or hot surfaces.
•
Always disconnect the appliance from mains when not in use, or before filling or draining water.
•
To prevent electric shock or fire, do not immerse the appliance or power cord into water or other liquids. If this
happens, NEVER touch the appliance! Disconnect it from mains immediately and contact service center to test
the appliance for safety and proper condition.
•
In case power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by manufacturer or service center authorized by
manufacturer, or by similar skilled staff.
•
The appliance should not be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities (including
children), or persons having insufficient skills or knowledge, without supervision or instruction of person
responsible for their safety.
•
Do not allow children to play with the appliance! Do not leave the appliance unattended in presence of children!
•
During work breaks place the appliance on the support only. It is not recommended to place it on metal or rough
surfaces.
•
When operating the appliance, all precautions related to steam release must be taken.
•
Never try to repair this appliance or replace its parts by yourself. In case of failure, contact the nearest service
center.
•
If the appliance was placed in an area with the temperature below 0 ºC, it is recommended to wait at least 2
hours after placing it in an area with room temperature before switching the appliance on.
•
The manufacturer reserves the right to make minor changes in product design, that does not fundamentally affect
its safety, efficiency and functionality, without notice.
PREPARATION FOR USE
•
During manufacturing, a lubricant was applied on some parts of the appliance, so the appliance may emit a bit of
smoke when turned on for the first time. It is not a sign of failure, and the smoke will disappear soon.
•
Remove the protective cover from the working surface and wipe with a soft cloth.
OPERATION
TEMPERATURE MODES
•
Before operation make sure that you have read and understood the instructions given on the label attached to
the product you want to iron. Strictly observe these instructions.
•
Set the temperature regulator to position corresponding to the type of fabric you are going to iron:

FILLING THE TANK WITH WATER
•
Switch the appliance off and disconnect it from the mains before filling it with water.
•
Place the brush on the support.
•
Open the water filling hole. Carefully pour water into the tank.
•
Please observe the maximum level mark, do not overfill.
WARNING!
The appliance can be operated when filled with tap water. However, it is preferable to fill treated water,
especially in cases when the tap water is too hard.
•
Do not fill the tank with chemically softened water and do not use aromatizing agents.
•
If the tap water is too hard, use distilled or demineralized water only.
•
During operation the water filling hole should be closed.
•
Also always switch the appliance off and disconnect it from the mains before refilling it with water.
•
Drain water completely from the tank when operation is finished.
DRY IRONING
•
Dry ironing is possible when the water tank is empty.
OPERATION
•
Pour water into the tank.
•
Connect the appliance to mains. The heating indicator lights up.
•
Set the temperature regulator into the required position.
•
Start ironing when the indicator goes out.
•
Press the steam release button to start steaming.
•
During work breaks place the appliance on the support only.
