strong table/base, or the trolley if provided, capable of supporting up to 200 kgs. Take
extreme care when lifting as the unit is very heavy (160 kgs/352 lbs). Use a lifting trolley
or fork lift truck. Ensure that there is unrestricted access to the inspection chamber door.
Ensure that the door is fully closed.
2. Connect monitor to unit by means of the ‘D’ connector and power cables supplied

control panel and turn it clockwise to switch on the unit. The green
SYSTEM READY
light should illuminate to indicate the interlocks have been operated and that the equipment
is ready for use.

Activate the red
X-RAY ON
button on the front control panel. Observe that all X-ray
lights illuminate and that they remain illuminated. Slowly open the loading door and verify
that the
X-RAY ON

as soon as the door is opened.

8. Using the Trackball check that the left hand switch rotates through the zoom function and
that the right hand switch rotates through the six image formats.
