Le Scanic fonctionne au choix dans les modes DMX,
Master/Slave et Stand/Alone avec commande par la
musique (microphone intégré).
En mode DMX, tous les appareils Scanic doivent
être raccordés avec un câble DMX (XLR) 3 broches
en vente dans le commerce et un contrôleur
DMX-512.
Raccorder à présent la sortie -14- du premier
appareil avec l'entrée -15- du deuxième appareil, la
sortie du deuxième appareil avec l'entrée du
troisième, etc.
Pour terminer, brancher la fiche secteur sur une
prise de courant et allumer l'appareil en
commutant l'interrupteur marche/arrêt -16-. La DEL
Power (rouge) -7- s'éclaire.
Au cours de la première mise en marche du
produit, il peut se former de la fumée ou une odeur;
ceci n'est pas une panne. Toujours observer une
pause entre les allumages et extinctions de
l'appareil ! Attendre au moins 15 minutes avant de
rallumer ou d'éteindre de nouveau l'appareil !
L'appareil ne démarre qu'après une phase de
chauffe et d'autotest.
Lorsque le Moving Head est prêt à fonctionner,
tourner la molette Jog-Wheel -9- jusqu'à ce que
"ADDR" soit affiché. Vous pouvez à présent
sélectionner l'adresse DMX désirée sur l'appareil
avec la molette Jog-Wheel -9-. Enfoncer la molette
Jog-Wheel -9- pour confirmer.
Pour synchroniser plusieurs projecteurs Scanic
Astute 250, indiquer une adresse de démarrage
identique.
La focalisation de la projection sur le modèle Astute
250 s'effectue en tournant la vis de réglage
au-dessus de la lentille -18- .
Dès que l'appareil reçoit les données DMX, la DEL
DMX-In (verte) -8- s'éclaire.

Das Scanic Gerät ist sowohl durch DMX-Betrieb,
Master/Slave Funktion und Stand/Alone Modus mit
Musiksteuerung (integriertes Mikrofon) zu
betreiben.
Bei einem DMX-Betrieb müssen alle Scanic Geräte
mit einem handelsüblichen, 3poligen DMX-Kabel
(XLR) und einem DMX-512 Steuergerät verbunden
werden.
Verbinden Sie nun den Ausgang -14- des ersten
Gerätes mit dem Eingang -15- des zweiten Gerätes,
den Ausgang des zweiten Gerätes mit dem Eingang
des 3 Gerätes usw..
Schließen Sie den Netzstecker zunächst an die
Netzsteckdose an und schalten Sie das Gerät nun
mit dem Ein/Aus-Schalter -16- ein. Die Power LED
(rot) -7- leuchtet.
Wenn Sie das Produkt zum ersten Mal in Betrieb
nehmen, kann es zu Rauch- und
Geruchsentwicklung kommen; dies stellt keinen
Fehler dar. Vermeiden Sie es, das Produkt schnell
nacheinander mit dem Netz zu verbinden und es
wieder vom Netz zu trennen! Warten Sie immer 15
Minuten bis zur nächsten Inbetrieb-, bzw.
Außerbetriebnahme!
Das Gerät startet erst nach einer Aufwärm- und
Selbsttest-Phase.
Wenn der Moving Head startbereit ist, betätigen Sie
das Jog-Wheel -9- bis "ADDR" erscheint. Nun
können Sie auf dem Gerät mit dem Jog-Wheel -9-
die gewünschte DMX-Adresse wählen. Bestätigen
Sie durch drücken des Jog-Wheels -9-.
Geben Sie mehreren Scanic Astute 250 PRO die
gleiche Startadresse, laufen sie synchron.
Das Fokusieren der Projektion am Astute 250 PRO
ist manuell durch drehen der Einstellschraube -18-
oberhalb der Linse einzustellen.
Sobald der Astute DMX-Daten empfängt, leuchtet
die DMX-In LED (grün) -8-.

The Scanic device can be operated by DMX
operation, Master/Slave function and Stand Alone
mode with music control (integrated mic).
When used in DMX operation, all Scanic devices
must be connected via a conventional 3-pole DMX
cable (XLR) and a DMX 512 control panel.
Connect the output -14- of the first device with the
input -15- of the second device and the output of
the second device with the input of the third device
and so on.
Connect the mains plug to an outlet and switch the
device on -16-. The Power LED (red) -7- is on.
Operating the product for the first time may
generate smoke and odour; this is not a defect.
Avoid dis/connecting the product repeatedly and
quickly from/with mains! Always wait 15 minutes
prior to the next dis/connection!
The device starts not until a self-testing and starting
time.
If the Moving Head is ready, activate the Jog-Wheel
-9- until "ADDR" appears. Then select the desired
DMX address on the device using the Jog Wheel -9-
. Confirm by pressing the Jog Wheel -9-.
If you would like to sync several Scanic Astute 250,
select the same start address.
The focus of the projection for the Astute 250 PRO
is set manually by turning the adjusting screw
above the lens -18-.
As soon as the Astute 250 PRO receives DMX data,
the DMC In LED goes on (green) -8-.

Setting
If the device is ready to start, operate:
- the Jog Wheel -9- until "REVERSE PAN" appears.
Press the Jog Wheel -9- to confirm; then activate
the function ("Y"). The Pan movement is now
reversed.
