Caution:
PCI-60A
has self-resetting fuses added on the power inputs to all IndustryPack
positions. This is consistent with safety-related requirements of some organizations.
Current limitations imposed by these fuses are shown below:

The PCI-60A uses Raychem PolySwitch
®
Resettable Fuses. These fuses are positive
temperature coefficient resistors that rapidly increase resistance in response to excessive
currents. If the current rises above the rated current, the device’s resistance abruptly rises,
effectively turning off the power to the IndustryPack. Once the fault condition is removed, the
switch cools and returns to its normal resistance, typically 0.05 Ohms.
