9. REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL
The safety information from section 2 “Safety” must be observed.
DANGER!
Risk of crushing!
There is a risk of limbs being crushed by the precision sine tables tipping
over or falling during removal.
■
Persons may only be present outside of the hazard area. Do not stand
under suspended loads!
■
Secure the precision sine tables and system parts against falling or
tipping over.
■
Only use sufficiently large load attachment devices for transport.
■
When lifting the precision sine tables, only use suitable and approved
lifting gear which are designed for the weight of the precision sine tables.
■
Use the lifting threads with lifting lugs on the larger sine tables.
■
Do not use any magnetic lifting devices!
DANGER!
Risk of crushing!
Sine tables without adjustment mechanism pose a risk of the top plate falling
down and causing crush injuries to hands.
Sine tables with adjustment mechanism poses a risk of jamming during the
adjustment motion.
■
On smaller devices, always hold on to the top plate securely during
adjustment.
■
On sine tables with adjustment mechanism, note the risk of jamming
during the adjustment motion. Proceed with particular caution during the
adjustment.
DANGER!
Risk of electric shock!
An electric shock can result in death or serious injuries.
■
Always carry out removal while the power supply is disconnected.
■
If the magnet has a connector, only unplug this once the demagnetising
cycles has been completed and the red signal light is permanently on.
Risk from electric arc.
The components of machines and systems are recyclable materials.
They must be reintroduced into the recycling process as per the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU.
■
Dispose of the precision sine tables with electro permanent magnetic chuck/electromagnetic chuck
in line with the applicable country-specific regulations.
