6 OPERATION
6.1
Adjusting the swivel angle using the sine principle
Using the sine principle is the most accurate method of adjusting a variety of different angles. An uncomplicated
swivelling of the device allows precise adjustment in the angle/second range.
Before adjustment, release the transport lock and the clamping pincers and the bearing clamping on both sides and
hold on to the magnet. The front hexagon socket screw of the bearing blocks facing the machine operator are used
for the bearing clamping. The rear hexagon socket screws always have to be fully tightened.
Do not let the measuring rollers drop onto the gauge block support!
Larger sine tables are equipped with an adjustment gear unit. This is operated with a ratchet.
Be aware of the risk of crushing your fingers.
To ensure stability, always use two gauge blocks (only for sine tables longer than 350 mm).
Always clamp both bearings and pincers before machining.
