We recommend that you descale your machine every 2-3 months or after the machine has made 200 cups of
espresso, although this period will depend on the hardness of water and frequency of use of the machine.
Descaling the Espresso/Cappuccino machine

pressing the ON/OFF button to “OFF” position.

place one under the brewing head and the other under the steam nozzle.

Remove the water reservoir from the machine and rinse thoroughly under running water, ensuring that all
traces of the descaling solution is removed. Fill the water reservoir with clean water and place onto
machine.
16.
Run approximately two full water reservoirs through the brewing head. Refill the water reservoir and run
the steam nozzle for 4-5 minutes.
Note:
Ensure that you continue to run water through the machine until the water runs clean and clear.
17.
When this is finished, remove the water reservoir and set aside. Remove the water containers and wipe
the machine over with a damp cloth.
18.
Replace the drip tray and screw the froth attachment onto the steam nozzle.
19.
Fill the water reservoir with water and position it on the machine. The machine is now ready to make the
next espresso/cappuccino.
