Optical Adjustments
[Before Adjustment]
- Adjustment requires a 2.0mm hex driver and a slot screwdriver.
- Remove cabinet top and cabinet front following to “Cabinet
Disassemblies”. The lamp cover must be re-mounted otherwise the
projector can not be turned on.
- Disconnect the connectors FPC cable of LCD panels on the main
unit.
[ADJUSTMENT]
1. Turn on lamp by a state of without FPC cable of LCD panels.
2. Set the size of a screen in about 40 inches.
3. Insert paper etc. in Red and Blue panel to block the red and blue
light so that green light is projected and make a fine focus.
4. Insert paper etc. in Red panel to block the red light so that blue and
green lights are projected.
5. Adjust the adjustment base of integrator lens ass’y to make colour
uniformity in cyan.
1) If the un-uniform colour appears on the left or right of the screen
as shown in Fig.10-1, loosen 2 screws “B” with the hex driver
(Fig.9) and adjust a slot “A” to make colour uniformity in cyan by
using a slot screwdriver.
2) If the un-uniform colour appears on the top or bottom of the
screen as shown in Fig.10-2, loosen 2 screws “C” with hex driv-
er (Fig.9) and adjust the 2 screws “D” to make colour uniformity
in cyan.
6. Tighten the 4 screws “B” and “C” to fix the integrator lens unit.
Note:
The relay lens adjustment must be carried out after completing this
adjustment.
