RECORDING
(A) Recording from the built-in radio
1. Press
STOP/EJECT.
Insert
cassette.
2.
Set Function selector to RADIO.
Select a band
AM, FM or FM STEREO
Tune in a station.
3.
Press RECORD.
Automatic Level Control (ALC) recording
The ALC circuit adjusts the recording input level
automatically. No adjustment is required.
Press STOP/EJECT once to stop the tape.
Press again to remove the cassette.
(B) Recording from the built-in microphone
1.
Press STOP/EJECT and insert cassette.
2.
Set Function selector to OFF – TAPE
3. Press
RECORD.
4.
The built-in microphone would pick up and
record your sound automatically.

(C) Sync recording from a compact disc
1. Press
STOP/EJECT.
Insert
cassette.
2.
Set Function selector to CD. Open the CD
door and place disc with label side facing
up.
3.
Program the CD tracks if you want.
4. Press RECORD, the CD will be played
from track 1 or from the track you just
programmed and the unit starts sync
recording.
Press STOP/EJECT once to stop the tape.
Press again to remove the cassette.
Safeguards against accidental erasure
To protect side A, break out tab (1). To protect
side B, break out tab (2).
NOTE:
A cassette with the erase guard tabs removed
cannot be erased or used for recording and the
RECORD button cannot be depressed. To
record of erase a protect cassette. Cover the tab
openings with adhesive taps (3).
