HANDSET TEST MODE SPECIFICATION

1. Overview

By operating the keyboard SW on the remote unit, the pass or fail of the completion process can be determined through the
status of the LEDs, the sound of the key monitor, etc.

2. Start up

(A) Startup of the TEST MODE by the microcomputer ports.

(i) Before power ON, set to LOW  P71 (2 pin).
(ii) INITIAL CHANNEL = 10 CH  VCO adjustment

(B) Startup of the TEST MODE by operation of Power ON.

(When the TEST MODE begins, a beep is heard).
(i) The TEST MODE is started up by pressing “1” and “9” keys simultaneously at power on.
(ii) INITIAL CHANNEL = 10 CH  VCO adjustment

(C) In case of TEST MODE in this way, there are several ways to change the normal mode.

(i) Detect charge.
(ii) Turn off the power, and turn on the power.

3. High frequency adjustment mode/Call circuit inspection mode

(A) High frequency adjustment channel

(i) VCO ADJUSTMENT CHANNEL : 10 CH (TEST MODE startup)

Tx POWER ON / Rx POWER ON / Rx MUTE OFF

(ii) Tx ADJUSTMENT CHANNEL : 4 CH (FLASH key on)

Tx POWER ON / Rx POWER ON / Rx MUTE ON

(iii) Rx ADJUSTMENT CHANNEL : 6 CH (REDIAL/P key on)

Tx POWER ON / Rx POWER ON / Rx MUTE OFF

(B) Setting of PLL channel (01 ~ 10 CH)

(i) Press two numeric keys (01 ~ 10 : Channel No.). For example : TALK MODE 01 channel 

 0 and 1 key

(ii) After, the following operation setting of Tx and Rx are the same number of channel.

a.  * key 

 Tx POWER ON

b.  TALK / VOL key 

 Tx DATA ON, Rx MUTE ON

c.  END key 

 Tx POWER OFF / Tx DATA OFF

(C) Volume Control

Volume Control “Loud / Normal” switch over each time the MEMORY key is pressed.
Initial volume is Normal. (Only Tx POWER ON).

(D) Rx MUTE ON / OFF

Rx MUTE ON / OFF switch over each time the CHANNEL key is pressed. (Only Tx POWER ON).

(E) Detection of battery low

BATT LED is ON.

(F) Key monitor inspection mode

(i) Each time a key is pressed, the TALK LED lights and the key monitor sounds.
(ii) Keys are pressed disorderly, and if after all keys have been pressed, the TALK LED lights for approximately 0.5 sec.

and a beep is heard.

1. Start Up

(A) Start up of the Test mode by the microcomputer ports.

Before power ON, select the microcomputer ports : 36 pin (high or low), 59 pin -53 pin (short or open),
62 pin - 54 pin (short or open).

(B) Start up of the TEST MODE by operation of power ON

(i) Continue pressing ‘ PAGE/INT” key.
(ii) Supply the power keeping “(a)”.
(iii) Set the TONE/PULSE switch to PULSE.
(iv) Set the TONE/PULSE switch to TONE.
(v) Release “PAGE/INT” key.

Test mode will be Handset Call Status. (Channel 

 10 CH)

In case of Test mode in this way, there are several ways to change the usual mode.

(i) Detect charge.
(ii) Turn OFF the power

2. The states of test mode

(A) Change state, press “#” key and then press numeric key (1 or 2 or 3).

For example: Intercom Call 

 “#”, “3”.

Or each time you press the “SPEAKER” key, the state No. is increased.

Intercom Call

Rx MUTE is ON. While “REDIAL/P” key is pressed, Tx DATA turns ON and

Tx MUTE turns ON.

SPEAKER

While an incoming call is detected, CHARGE/IN USE LED blinks and “RING”
is heard.   (Set at TONE mode)

* NOTE: INTERCOM SPEAKERPHONE measurement is not possible at this lest mode.
