Unit Condition
a) Disconnect the DC Power Supply.
b) Disconnect AF oscillator from TEL line, and connect AC voltmeter in parallel with distortion meter, terminated with 600
Ω
during
load to the TEL line.
c) Disconnect linear detector from CN101 and connect FM SSG (1kHz, 2.5kHz dev., 49.830MHz, 46dB
µ
V) to CN101.
d) Connect the DC power supply again, press “FLASH” & confirm current channel is at CH 6 (49.830MHz).
Slide S401 to “RINGER ON” (Rx MUTE will be OFF) & S402 to “PULSE”.
e) Rx IF
.... Align T301 to obtain maximum deflection and minimum distortion from the read of AC voltmeter
and distortion meter respectively.
f)
Rx RF
.... Change output level of FM SSG from 46dB
µ
V to 5dB
µ
V.
Align T101 & T102 to obtain minimum distortion at the distortion meter (less than 10%).
g) Rx AF LEVEL
.... Change output level of FM SSG from 5dB
µ
V to 46dB
µ
V.
Align VR301 to obtain -6dBm
±
1dBm from the read of AC voltmeter, and confirm at the FM
SSG input of
300Hz (46dB
µ
V): the output of ACVM -12dBm
±
4dBm.
3kHz (46dB

4dBm.
h) CD Level Check
– Switch position S402
