REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OPERATION
BASE STATION
Antenna
For optimum performance,
extend to full length.

TONE/ Button
Press to temporarily
switch to Touch-
Tone dialing.
SPEAKER Button/Indicator
Press to turn speakerphone on and
off. Also lights when the
speakerphone is used.
PAGE/INT Button/Indicator
Press to begin an intercom conversation with the handset
user, or to transfer a call to the handset. Also used to change
the security code.
Contact Points
For handset battery charging.
CHARGE/IN USE Indicator
Lights when the handset is
recharged in the base station
cradle.
Flashes when the telephone is
in use.
REDIAL/PAUSE Button
Press to redial the last
number dialed.
If you press any other dialing
button before pressing this
button, it functions as a pause
button.
FLASH Button
Used to access special services
offered by your telephone company
(call waiting, for example).
AC Adaptor Jack
(DC 12V AC ADAPTOR)
TONE/PULSE Select Switch
Modular Telephone Jack
(TEL LINE) RINGER Switch
Turns the base station ringer on and off.
This switch must be set to the ON position
in order to hear a ring on the base station
when an incoming call is received.
VOLUME Control
Adjusts the speakerphone sound level.
1. HANDSET SECTION
The procedure for disassembly the handset is as follows.
a. REMOVAL OF REAR CABINET
(1) Remove the battery compartment lid.
(2) Remove the battery pack and take off the plug.
(3) Remove the rod antenna.
(4) Remove the screws.
(5) While pressing the shaded area to release the hooks on both sides of the cabinet 1. gently open the bottom
of the cabinet 2.
(6) While gently opening the handle, lift and remove 3 and 4.
2. BASE STATION
a. Terminal Charge
When cabinet & cabinet bottom assembled,note to contact terminal charge & STW. as shown in the figure.
