a) Press “

” key, the channel will turn to CH 4. Confirm that the frequency is 30.1500MHz.
b) Slide S401 to “RINGER OFF” & S402 to “PULSE”, Rx MUTE will be ON.
Disconnect frequency counter from CN101, and connect RF voltmeter to CN101 (50
Ω
probe).
c) Tx POWER
.... Adjust T203 so that the reading of RF voltmeter is 300
±
80mW.
T202 is a preset coil so no alignment is needed.
d) Tx MODULATION
.... Connect linear detector to CN101.
Connect AF oscillator (1kHz, -20dBm) to TEL line.
Align VR601 to obtain 3.0kHz
±
0.15kHz dev. from the read of linear detector. And confirm at the AF
oscillator to TEL line .
300Hz, -20dBm: the read of linear detector is 2.2kHz
±
0.4kHz dev.
3kHz, -20dBm: the read of linear detector is 3.8kHz
±
0.6kHz dev.
e) Tx DATA
.... After Tx modulation alignment, press & hold “REDIAL” key (S493).
MODULATION
While pushing “REDIAL” key, Tx DATA is sent.
Check the read of linear detector is 5.0kHz

2. ALIGNMENT FOR BASE STATION
NOTE : DURING ALIGNMENT, DISCONNECT THE ANTENNA WIRE FROM THE SET.
2-1. Tx/Rx VCO & Tx Frequency

Unit Condition
a) Set unit to “TEST1” mode by shorting “TEST” point (IC401 36 pin) to ground.
b) Connect the DC power supply.
c) Connect frequency counter to CN101.
d) Set switch S401 to “PULSE” position. Tx power will be ON.
e) Confirm the current channel is at CH 10, reading from the frequency counter is 30.300MHz
±
1.2kHz.
f)
Connect digital voltmeter to Tx/Rx VCO test point.
g) Align T201 (Tx) to obtain 2.5
±
0.1VDC reading from the digital voltmeter respectively.
h) Align T103 (Rx) to obtain 1.5
±
0.1VDC reading from the digital voltmeter respectively.
