3. Remove fasteners (1) and the battery panel (2).

4. Disconnect the ground (negative) terminal (1) first,

followed by the positive terminal (2).

5. Remove the battery clamp fasteners (3) and



battery clamp (4).

6. Check that all cables and parts are out of the way, then

lift the battery out of the battery compartment.

7. Clean the battery tray.

8. Installation is in the reverse order of removal. Connect

the positive terminal first, followed by the ground
(negative) terminal.
