When is the “Activate Raid Set” function can be used?
In order to access the Volume Set and corresponding data, use the
Activate Raid Set
function to active the Raid Set. After selecting this function, the Raid State will
change to “
Degraded ” state.
To activate the incomplete the Raid Set, click on the Activate Raid Set link . A “Select
The Raid Set To Activate” screen is displayed showing all existing Raid Sets in the subsystem.
Select the Raid Set with “
Incomplete ” state which you want to activate in the Select column.
Click on the Submit button to activate the Raid Set. The Volume Set(s) associated with
the Raid Set will become accessible in “ Degraded ” mode.
NOTE: The “Activate Raid Set” function is only used when Raid Set
State is “Incomplete”. It cannot be used when Raid Set configuration
is lost. Use the Rescue Raid Set function instead.
