4.1.5.
DC Terminal Block Alarm Relay Contacts (16-port)
The alarm relay contacts, in the middle of the DC terminal block connector, detect an Ethernet port failure and forms
a short circuit. The alarm relay output is “Normal Close”.
To activate the alarm relay insert the wires into the corresponding contacts on the DC terminal block.

When attaching wires to the DC terminal block’s contacts consider:

DC terminal block pitch, 5.08 mm
•
Wire size range: Solid wire: 12~24 AWG and Stranded wire: 12~24 AWG
•
Wire length 3 m (9.84 ft.) maximum
•
Wire strip length 7 mm (0.28 in)

Ground Connector (16-port)
The switch must be grounded properly for optimum system performance.
