4.1.4.

DC Terminal Block (16-port)

The switch can be powered from dual external DC power supplies (input range of 12 VDC to 58 VDC) by inserting the
positive and negative wires into the corresponding contacts for the first power supply (P1+/-) and second power
supply (P2+/-) on the DC terminal block and tighten the wire-clamp screws to prevent the wires from loosening. The
switch supports fault alarm notification for power. To check for correct operation, refer to the LED indicators P1 and
P2 on the faceplate.

When connecting the power follow the polarity indicated for P1 +/-and/or P2+/-.

When attaching power wires to the DC terminal block’s power contacts consider:

DC Terminal block pitch, 5.08 mm

Wire size range: Solid wire: 12~24 AWG and Stranded wire: 12~24 AWG

Wire length 3 m (9.84 ft.) maximum

Wire strip length 7 mm (0.28 in)

With multiple power sources connected to the switch, the switch utilizes the power supply
with the higher voltage or the most stable power supply.
