Connecting to the Mains Supply

Mains Power

•  This unit is designed to operate with a DC  

9V 1.66A mains adapter (included).

•  Unwind the mains cable to its full length. 

Connect the other end of the mains cable 

to the DC IN Socket at the rear of the 

unit then connect the mains adapter to 

the mains socket. Make sure the mains 

adapter is firmly inserted into the mains 

socket. The unit is now connected and 

ready to use.

•  To switch the unit off completely, remove 

the mains adapter from the mains socket.

Ensure all connections are in place before 

connecting to the mains power socket.

Connecting the FM Aerial

Screw on the rod aerial (included) to the 

ANT socket. Extend the aerial and adjust its 

position to obtain optimum reception.

Use ony the FM aerial that is supplied with 

this unit. Do not connect the unit to an 

exterior aerial as this may affect reception 

or the unit’s functions.
