Signal Strength

Digital (HDTV) channels either have perfect reception quality or you will not
receive them at all. Repositioning your antenna may increase the strength of the
digital signals you receive. The stronger the signal, the more digital channels you
will be able to watch. The HDTV’s signal strength meter will aid you in placing the
antenna in the optimal position. The meter only works for digital channels, not
analog channels.

SDTV (standard definition television)

Standard definition television is a digital television system in which the quality is
approximately equivalent to that of NTSC.

Surround Delay

A Speaker Control menu option that allows you to set the time delay between the
broadcast of sound from the front speakers and the broadcast of sound from the
rear speakers.
