Viewing the Program Guide
To view the Program Guide:
Press GUIDE on the remote control or highlight the
GUIDE
icon on the menu and
press ENTER.
The Program Guide has a number of features and navigation buttons to help you
find information quickly. Take a moment to review the Program Guide.

our HDTV includes special features to help you navigate through your viewing options. The
Program Guide, Channel Guide and Minor Channel Display provide information and
navigation tools for “major” and “minor” channels.
A“major“ channel is a group of channels belonging to a broadcast corporation. For example,
the XYZ Broadcasting Corporation may broadcast three different channels: XYZ-1, XYZ-2 and
XYZ-3. Therefore, XYZ is the major channel and XYZ-1, XYZ-2 and XYZ-3 are the minor
channels. Information on the major channel is listed in the on-screen Program Guide.
Information on the minor channels is listed in the on-screen Channel Guide.
• The Program Guide supplies information such as program listings and start times for all
available channels. This guide lists broadcasters’ “major” channels.
• The Channel Guide supplies information about the programs showing on a particular
channel. This guide lists broadcasters’ “minor” channels.
• The Minor Channel Display lists the minor channels that are available when you are
tuned to a specific major channel and allows you to change directly to those channels.
