AnswerPhone

Menu 3-4

You can set your phone to answer calls and play a
recorded message.

You can use the message to inform callers of your
current situation and to guide them to leave
messages in your voice mail.

While the message is being played, you can, if you
so wish, take the call by pressing the

Accept

soft

key.

The following options are available.

AnswerPhone:

allows you to turn the answerphone

feature on and off. When the answerphone is on,
the

icon appears on the last line of the display.

Message Record:

you can record for up to

35 seconds. To stop recording before the time is up,
press the

Stop

soft key. To change the message, use

the

Delete

option and then record a new message.

To exit without recording, press the

Exit

soft key.

Message Select:

the phone provides two default

messages and allows you to record your own
personal message (see the previous option). You can
select

User Message

only when you have recorded

your own message.

Record:

this option allows you to record a memo.

The screen displays the:
• Memo location
• Date and time when the memo was recorded
• Recording time counter

The maximum recording time is about 35 seconds.
If you wish to record for longer, press the

Continue

soft key.

Split

appears instead of

Continue

. You can

continue recording and the rest of the memo is
stored in the next memo location.

To stop recording, press the

Stop

soft key.

Note

: If all memo locations are full, you must delete

an old memo before recording a new one.

Replay:

this option allows you to play back all

memos recorded, starting with the most recent
memo. The screen displays the:
• Memo location
• Date and time when the memo was recorded

To skip to the next memo, press the

Skip

soft key.

To stop the playback, press the

Stop

soft key.

Delete One:

this option allows you to delete a

specific memo. All memos recorded are played back,
starting with the most recent one.

Delete All:

this option allows you to delete all

memos. Press the

soft key to confirm.
