SPECIAL

VPS (Virtual Progressive Scan)

Virtual Progressive Scan provides a
clearer view of objects, which is used for
high-quality video. It is suitable for high-
quality recording and Internet transfer.

OFF : Switch the video recording system

to 2:1 Interlace Scan.

ON : Switch the video recording system to Virtual Progressive Scan.

PRIVACY :

Hide the area that you want not to be displayed on the screen.

When the SPECIAL menu screen is
displayed, using the UP or DOWN
button so that the arrow indicates
‘PRIVACY’.

Set up the mode using the 4
direction buttons.

- AREA : You can specify up to 12

areas to your preference.

- MODE : Determines whether to use

the area selected in the
AREA SEL.

- MASK COLOR : You can select one from 6 colors (green, red, blue, black,

white and gray) that is used to fi ll the selected area.

- TRANSPARENCY : Specify the use of transparency on the selected area.

- SEL POS/X POS/Y POS : Changes the position of the selected area.

- RETURN : Saves the PRIVACY settings and return to the SPECIAL SETUP menu.
