4. Troubleshooting
When an error occurs, first, you may follow an instruction on the control panel display to solve the
problem.
Messages on the display indicates the machine’s status or errors. Refer to the tables to
understand the messages’ meanings and correct the problem if necessary. Messages and their
meanings are listed in alphabetical order.
•
If a message is not in the table, reboot the power and try the printing job again. If the problem persists, call for
service.
•
When you call for service, provide the service representative with the contents of the display message.
•
Some messages may not appear in the display depending on options or models.

Check if there is a paper jam in the exit of the
finisher. If there is one, remove it.
2.
Open the front cover of the finisher.
