Tax Tables
Tax 6 should be used for the Canadian Goods and Services tax (GST). Here you have the
option of taxing the GST by other applicable rates (tax on tax).
1.
Choose the
Edit ECR Data
menu, then select
P-Mode Programming
menu to open the
P-Mode Programming menu. Select
Tax Tables
, and then select either Tax Rates 1-5 or
Tax Rate 6 to display the appropriate Tax Rate Program screen for the selected store file.

If you are programming tax 1-5, select the tax from the
Tax#
drop down box.

Select the tax type option button.
4.
If the tax type you select is Add On or VAT, the
Rate
,
Threshold
and
High Hold
fields
are activated; if you select Table, the
Table
fields are activated.
5.
Complete the appropriate fields. Refer to the
Samsung SPS 1000 Program Manual
for a
complete description of your program options.
6.
Click
Exit
to save changes.
