Samsung does not take any liability for data loss resulting from
running the Samsung Secure Erase Utility. In addition, no data
restoration services are available through Samsung. Therefore, it is
highly recommended that you familiarize yourself with these Secure
Erase instructions before executing a Secure Erase.
NOTE
: The Secure Erase feature is not mandatory and is only for those
who wish to either permanently delete the data on their SSD or restore
the original out-of-the-box performance of their SSD. Therefore, it is up
to the user whether or not to execute the Secure Erase feature.
