2. Product Specifications and Description

2.5.2.3. Developer Unit

This machine uses a dual-component development system and has four Developer units. Each new unit contains 185g of
magnetic toner carrier. The developer in each unit is supplied to the magnetic(development) roller[A] by the two mixing
augers[B]. The diameter of the magnetic roller is 16 mm.

Each Developer unit has a TC(Toner Concetration) sensor[C]. They are used for controlling the operating range of toner
density.
