3. Disassembly and Reassembly

3.3.29.3. Scan Imaging Unit

Remove 2 screws. And then, remove the scan glass
holder cover.

Lift the scan glass up and release it.

NOTE

Be careful not to contaminate the scan glass.

Remove 5 screws. And then, release the CCD shield.

Remove the 2 screws and 2 plate springs.

NOTE

Do not loosen the screws marked by green X.

Open the connector flip. And then, unplug the flat cable.
