Oven use
Using the malaysian menu feature
With the Malaysian Menu feature, the cooking time is set automatically.
You can select the type of food by pressing the appropriate
Malaysian Menu
button the required number of times.
First, place the food in the centre of the turntable and close the door.

2. Press the Up / Down button to select the
food you want.
3. Press the START button.
When it has finished:
1) The oven beeps four times.
2) The end reminder signal will beep 4
times. (once every minute)
3) The current time is displayed again.
CAUTION
Use only recipients that are microwave-safe.
The following table presents 10 Malaysian Menu Programmes, quantities, standing
times and appropriate recommendations.

Homemade Chilli Paste
Dry Chilli Cut 1 inch 30 g, Water 300 g
Rendang
Chicken parts cut(12 ea) 400 g or Beef topside
slice 400 g, Bombay onion(2 ea) - large
dice 100 g, Garlic(7 clove) - peeled 30 g,
Lemongrass(3 stalk) - slice 76 g, Galangal(2 inch)
- slice 30 g, Fresh Turmeric - slice (1 tbsp.) 30 g,
Fresh Ginger - slice (2 inch) 27 g, All-Prepared
Chilli Blend, Coconut Milk Concentrate 1 cup,
Meat Curry Powder 2 tbsp., Fried Coriander Seed
(whole) 1 tbsp., Kerisik (fried coconut paste)
2 tbsp., Salt and sugar to taste, Water 1 cup,
Kaffir Lime Leaf, Oil 50 g
For Homemade Chilli Paste
Combine ingredients in ceramic bowl. Put it in the microwave
oven. Operate a 800 W for 5 mins. After cooking, Discard chilli
water, rinse and remove seeds. Blend soften chilli with a 100 g
water and 1 tsp. oil to make a smooth chilli paste.
Method for Fried Coriander Seeds
Put Coriander seeds on a plate. Operate a 600 W for 1 min.
Methods for Complete Rendang
Blend in the bracket ingredients into smooth thick paste with all
the prepared chilli paste and enough water for smooth blending.
Combine well all ingredients into a casserole. Put it in the
microwave oven. Select this menu in autocook and press a
START
button. When the beeps, take out and stir. Even if you don’t take
out it for stirring, this oven keep operating. If you take out it,
press a
START button after stirring. After cooking, serve hot.
