SCP CARD
The iDCS 500 Switch Control Processor (SCP) is used when the system is expanded to more than one
cabinet. In a multiple cabinet system the SCP becomes the processor for the first iDCS 500 cabinet
and communicates via a high speed data link to the MCP. The SCP installs in the ninth (9) slot in the
first cabinet. The SCP can have three daughter boards installed as indicated by the table below.

Do not insert this card with system power ON.

When it is set to "ON" and the version of SMARTMEDIA is not match to current system version, system
S/W will be replaced to the S/W of SMARTMEDIA.
