Q : Although I bought the LTE version of the Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) , I have checked the Mobile Network settings
of the device and found that there was no option to select LTE (4G) Network,
only GSM (2G) and WCDMA (3G) .
What should I do?
Part 2 > Q140:
LTE Option is missing in Network Settings
A :
First of all, please check with your Network operator that you have a compatible LTE
provisioned SIM for your device to enable use of the LTE network or access to
LTE mobile network settings.
The LTE option in the network setting is only available for those operators that
support LTE on their regional network.
Where a Mobile network operator does not currently support LTE , the LTE
option will not be displayed in Mobile Network settings of your device.
Where you have a LTE provisioned SIM, please upgrade your device software via Kies or FOTA to update list the list of LTE
Network operators to include the Network operator you are connected to*
※
Note:
Where Network operator advises its LTE network is now “Live”, the software for the device is
updated in due course in line with a specific operator now making LTE available for the region
