MOBILE HOTSPOT
Turn your phone into a portable Wi-Fi
HotSpot so you can share your mobile data
connection with other devices.
To use your phone’s HotSpot capability,
you must have the Mobile HotSpot service
added to your rate plan.
You will see
(
HotSpot Active
) in the
Status bar when the feature is active.
Note: The
Mobile HotSpot service cannot be
active at the same time as Wi-Fi. Please close your
Wi-Fi connection prior to launching this service.
Note: Up to 10 devices can share your phone’s
Mobile HotSpot connection.
Turn on Mobile HotSpot
1. From the Home screen, tap

Apps

Mobile HotSpot
).
2. In a single motion, touch and slide
the
Mobile HotSpot
slider to the
right to turn on the feature.
3. Read the on-screen notification
regarding data use and tap
OK
.
4. Tap
Mobile HotSpot

5. Create a new Network SSID
name and then write it down.
6. Tap
Save
