At any point while composing a message, to complete
the message text and set message send options, press
Options
. The following options appear in the display:
• Preview
: View the message as the recipient(s) will view it.
• Save As Draft
: Save the message to your Drafts folder.
• Add Quick Text
: Insert pre-composed text into your message.
• Priority Level
: Select
Urgent
,
Normal
, or
Low
.
• Delivery Ack
: When set to On, you receive a message when
this message is delivered.
• Cancel Message
: Cancels message or save the message to
the Drafts folder.

To send your finished message, press
SEND
.
Receiving Messages
When you receive a message in standby mode or in a call,
the ringer sounds (unless turned off) and
NEW TEXT
MESSAGE/NEW PICTURE MSG/X NEW MESSAGES
appears in
the display. The date and time of the message also appear in
the display along with the following options:
•
View Now
: Open the message, where you have the option to
Forward, Reply With Copy, Save Quick Text, Lock, Add To
Contacts, Message Info, or Extract Addresses.
•
View Later
: Save the message to your inbox, where you can view
it later, and then return your phone to standby mode.
