Choosing a Connection
Connection to a TV (For Progressive scan, Digital Video)
Method 1
DVD TV with Component Video Jacks.
(The Video Output in Setup Menu must be set to Component (P-SCAN).)
Method 2
DVD TV with DVI Jack.
• Depending on your TV, your hookup for Method 2 may differ from the illustration.
(The Video Input on TV must be set to DVI.)
Method 3
DVD TV with HDMI Jack.
• Depending on your TV, your hookup for Method 3 may differ from the illustration.
(The Video Input on TV must be set to HDMI.)
Important Note
• Consult your TV User’s Manual to find out if your TV supports Progressive Scan, DVI or HDMI.
• If you want to convert Video Output to Progressive Scan, select Component (P-SCAN) in SETUP menu and
then select “Yes” within 10 seconds. Finally change the TV's external input to Component (480p).

• Use the VIDEO SEL. button to easily change the video output in no disc mode. (See page 11)
• If HDMI or HDMI-DVI cable is pluged in TV, the player output is HDMI/DVI out automatically.
• When the Video output is HDMI/DVI, Component (P-SCAN) will not work .
• Refer to your TV user's manual.

Connection to a TV (For ANYNET)
ANYNET provides you with a convenient control of the DVD Player from your TV.
You shall connect the ANYNET OUT port of the DVD Player with the ANYNET IN port of the AV device to control
all items from your TV.
Method 1
DVD TV with ANYNET jack.
• Depending on your TV, your hookup for Method1 may differ from the illustration.
(Refer to the enclosed User’s Manual for the TV with the ANYNET function for the detailed functional operation
and connection diagram. But, you shall set up ANYNET on your TV first.)
Important Note
• Only the TV with the ANYNET function is applicable.
• Reversed connection between In and Out of the ANYNET ports will disable the ANYNET function.
• The ANYNET ports are light green(IN) or black(OUT).
Please match the ANYNET IN/OUT port with the right cable color.
