SETTING UP THE SHOOTING FUNCTION

There are 4 flash modes.

Select and use the proper flash mode according to the shooting conditions

SELF (self timer)
°§
To set up the self timer, press the shutter button and the picture will be taken
10 seconds later.
°ÿ
Red Flashing LED Self Timer Marker (next to the flash)
- For approximately 7 seconds after pressing the shutter button the LED will
flash slowly in 1 second intervals.
- During the remaining approximate 3 seconds the LED will flash rapidly in
second intervals.
°ÿ
If thesound function has been selectd, the light will be accompanied by a
‘beeping’ sound.
°§
When the self timer has finished the camera will revert back to taking photos
without self timer.
: The flash is disabled.
: The flash will work when necessary, however if
the background is too bright, the flash fading will
come into operation and will also be controlled
automatically. The brighter the background or
subject is, the weaker the flash fading.
: If an object or background is dark, the camera
flash works automatically and will reduce red

reduction function.
: If an object or background is dark, a

SETTING UP THE SHOOTING FUNCTION
If you press the Enter button after selecting the moving images record size with
the four-direction button and the shot time on the setup the moving imagew shot
frame, it goes back to the setup MENU frame and the selected the moving
images shot time is displayed as updated. If you press the MENU button at this,
the setup MENU frame is cancelled and the camera is ready for the moving
images shot take.

If there is not enough space on the memory card, the moving image
shooting will be CANCELLED.

If the set time of moving image shooting has not expired the shooting will
continue until it has finished.

You can shoot a moving image up to a maximum of 30 seconds.
°§
When the setup is completed, it is automatically set up as one shot take mode.

Press Enter and the “Movie Set” screen will
appear. You will be able to change the
“Rec size” and “Rec Time” by using the
directional buttons. Press Enter and the
“Capture” screen will appear again.
Go into the “Capture” menu and select the
moving image icon under “Type”.

The quality of the shot is set as ( )(1/16) when you shot a moving image.
That is, you can take pictures regardless of the selection of the image quality on
the PROPERTY function block.
°§
If you want to stop the moving images shot while you are using it, press the
power button.
°§
You cannot take the moving image shot in dark places (slower than 15 frame/sec).
