Troubleshooting

Before reporting the problems of your appliance, please check the trouble shooting table below.

Problem

Solution

The air purifier with

humidification function

does not work at all.

•  Check if there is a power failure. After checking the status of power supply, operate the appliance

again.

•  Check if the power plug is properly connected. Insert the power plug into the wall socket

correctly and operate the appliance again.

•  Check if the power socket has a problem and use another socket.
•  Check if the upper cover is correctly closed.

The Integrated HEPA/

Deodorization Filter

exchange display is on

continuously.

•  Check if you pressed the [   ] button and the [   ] button at the same time for more than

3 seconds. When exchanging the filters, press the [   ] button and the [   ] button for
3 seconds until you hear a beep sound.

Odor is generated.

•  Check if you haven’t cleaned the appliance for a long time or used stale water. Clean the water

bottle, humidification filter and the interior of the appliance.

•  Check if the odor is similar to that of chlorine.
•  The odor may be from the chlorine contained in the water. (Place the water outside for about one

day and then supply the water again.)

•  Check if the pre filter is dirty and then clean the pre filter.
•  Check if the odor is generated from Integrated HEPA/Deodorization Filter and then change the

filter.

•  Humidification filter and the tank is may smell when they are contaminated. Wash the

humidification filter and the tank and then use them.

•  Purchase a new humidification filter and replace the old one if it smells or contamination cannot

be eliminated. Recommended replacement interval is 3 years.

Water is not supplied.

•  Check if the water bottle is properly fitted into the water bottle box.
•  Check the water supply after removing the purification filter from the water bottle.

The humidity level does not

go up to set humidity level

in humidification mode.

•  Check whether the indoor room is warm or windows are open.
•  Especially, the humidity level is very low in the winter as the appliance is used in a sealed room.

Therefore, the current humidity level might not go up to the high humidity level set by users.

This is not the product malfunction, but just the difference depending on the usage
environment.

Humidity level is not going

down to desired value.

•  This product doesn’t have dehumidification function, so if the desired humidity is lower than

current humidity, product cannot help lowering the surrounding humidity level.

•  In cold seasons, if you use the humidification function while isolating the cold and dry outdoor

air, indoor humidity will increase easily, but it could be also hard to bring the humidity level
down. In this case, ventilate the air for a moment to supply some of the dry air from outdoor to
decrease the indoor humidity.

The water bottle runs out

of water but [Water supply]

light is not lit up.

•  Check if water remains in the tray. When the water in the tray is removed, the water supply light

[   ] will be lit up as well as the water bottle. After removing all the water in the tray, operate
the applaince and check whether the [   ] light is lit up in 3~5 minutes.

Breeze is generated but the

moisture is not.

•  Check if the humidification mode is off. If the humidification light is off, the humidification

function will not work, so after checking it, change it to the humidification mode.

•  Since this appliance is an evaporative air purifier with humidification function, the vapor is

invisible. Even if you cannot see the vapor from the appliance, do not worry about product
malfunction.

Less moisture is generated.

•  Check if you used well / spring water and then change it to tap water.
•  Check if the water in the water bottle is freezing or too cold. Use water of 7 °C~15 °C after

10~15minutes is passed. When using the water lower than 6 °C, product malfunction may occur.
