Pipe insulation
Insulate the refrigerant pipe
ॷ
Make sure to insulate the refrigerant pipe, branch joint, distribution header, and the connection part of the
pipes.
ॷ
If you insulate the pipes, condensed water will not fall from the pipes.
ॷ
Check if there are any cracks on the insulation at the bent part of the pipe.
Fix securely without any gap.
Install the insulation to be

The insulation of the gas and liquid pipes can be in
contact with each other but they should not press
excessively against each other.
࡛
When the gas side and liquid side pipes are contacting
each other, increase the thickness of the insulation by
one grade.
࡛
When installing the gas side and liquid side pipes,
leave at least 10mm of space.

reduce the thickness of the insulation.)
࡛
Install the refrigerant pipe respecting that the
insulation does not get thinner on the bent part
or hanger of pipe.
࡛
When the thickness of insulation is reduced,
reinforce the reduced thickness with additional
insulation.
