Making a Call Using Speed Dial
You can assign a short cut number to a phone number for speed dialing.
1. Touch
Contacts
Contacts Settings
Speed Dial.
The Speed Dial screen displays showing the numbers 1
through 9. The number 1 is reserved for Voice Mail.
2. Touch an unused number. The Contacts screen displays.
3. FInd the contact you want to assign to the number. You can scroll
through the list or tap on the search box and enter the letters of the
name you are searching for until the name appears.
4. Tap the contact to assign to the number.
To replace a number, touch
Replace
, touch the number you wish to
reassign, and touch the contact.
To remove one or more numbers, touch
Remove
, touch the check box in
the upper right corner of each entry to be removed, then touch
OK
.
Making a Call from the Contacts List
You can store phone numbers that you use regularly in the SIM card or the
phone’s memory and recall them to place a call. These entries are
collectively grouped in
Contacts
(see “Contacts” on page 59 for more
information).
