Switching point shift due to temperature
changes
The limit contacts and their operating ele-
ments react to temperature changes.
To ensure reliable switching, the switching
hysteresis between the actuator's switching
position and the limit contact's switching
point must be larger than the switching point
shift caused by the temperature change.

The switching point shift must be com-
pensated for by
x turns of the adjustment
screw on adjusting the limit contact:
– Switching point shift ΔT = 50 K
– Angle of rotation: ≤2°
