equipment may lead to injuries (back injury
in particular) depending on the weight of the
silencer.

4.3.1 Transporting the silencer
The silencer can be transported using lifting
equipment (e.g. crane or forklift).

Leave the silencer in its transport contain-
er or on the pallet to transport it.

Observe the transport instructions.

− Protect the silencer against external influ

ences (e.g. impact).

Do not damage the corrosion protection
(paint, surface coatings). Repair any
damage immediately.

Protect the silencer against moisture and
dirt.

The permissible transportation tempera-
ture of standard silencers is –20 to
+65 °C.
