Operation
Rotary rake is designed for raking forage, dry forage and hay after having been treated by
rotary tedder. Speed should be adjusted to terrain conditions, swath size and cleanliness of raking .

CAUTION:
Prolonged operation at 540 rpm may lead to premature wear of the gear. It is
recommended to apply 300 ÷ 350 rpm.
5.9.
Clogging of the rake
In order to avoid clogging, raking speed should be adjusted so as to match the mentioned
conditions. In order to remove the machine clogging, lower the rotor onto the ground, disconnect
the drive, take ignition key off and pay particular attention. When eliminating the machine
clogging, the operator should use protective gloves and tight wear.
5.10.
Unmounting machine from tractor
CAUTION:
When unmounting, make sure there is no person in between the rake and the
tractor.
To unmount the rake from the tractor:
Set the machine onto an even, stable ground,
Support the machine with the support legs and protect with safety pin,
Turn the tractor's ignition off and take the key out,
Protect the tractor against free runaway,
Dismount the PTO shaft and place it on a PTO shaft holder, which is standard-delivered
with the machine,
Detach the machine from the tractor.
