against retracting with clamps (

get both of working assemblies as near to each other as possible (

5.10.
Switching rake from forming one row to forming two single rows
In order to switch the machine for raking two rows, perform the following:
fold out working assemblies with tractor's hydraulics, so that raking tines on front working
assembly do not overlap with tines on the rear assembly,
open valve on tarpaulin cover mechanism cylinder.
Switching the valve shall cause the cover to get lifted as headlands with working assemblies,
and be set for operation as the machine starts raking.
When forming two rows the rear cover is set the same as when forming a single one.
Once the work is completed, first lift the tarpaulin cover mechanism (
Fig. 28
) and secure the
valve on cylinder (
Fig. 29
). Working assemblies can be slid down only when the mechanism is
secured.
CAUTION:
When sliding down the working assemblies, pay particular attention to
tarpaulin cover on the front working assembly – if in lower position its
damage may follow.
