Maintenance
6.2.1.
Inspecting the tautness of the belts of the belt drive
The tautness of the belts in the belt drive should be periodically inspected. In order to inspect
the tautness of the belts remove the cover P and manually check the tautness. If the belts yield by
more than two centimeters, they should be tightened using bolt S. In the event when adjustment
using the bolt cannot reduce the yield to less than two centimeters all belts should be replaced.

6.2.2.
Checking flail blade condition
All blades must be of the same type and have the same weight. If necessary a blade should be
replaced as shown in Pic. 16. Blades should be purchased from the manufacturer of the mower -
"SaMASZ".

Worn-out bolts securing the flail blades should be unconditionally replaced. It is forbidden to
use bolts with a lower strength class than 10. 9.
6.2.3.
Everyday maintenance
The following should be done everyday after finishing work:
wash the mower removing any remains of dirt or vegetation,
check all visible external parts and assemblies and their connections, tighten all loose bolt
connections and replace all worn or damaged parts,
lubricate the telescoping shafts of the ATS with STP grease,
if necessary lubricate all other assemblies in accordance with lubricating instructions (point 7).
